Two of indie-pop’s finest, Yoke Lore and Jax Anderson, team up for a new collaborative single, ‘Sensitive Heart’, a sweet duet released for Valentine’s Day. 

Speaking of the collaboration, Jax says, “’Sensitive Heart’ is my favourite kind of song: it makes me want to dance or cry depending on the mood I’m in when I’m listening to it. Working with Adrian (Yoke Lore) was amazing - he has a method of vulnerability & honesty with his writing that I absolutely love.”

Adrian says, “I met Jax on a hot day in Detroit. We talked about Zen and midwestern history, and we wrote a song about the responsibility of knowing that you are the architect of your own reality. Life isn't just what you make it - it's what you believe it to be.”

Late last year Jax Anderson released her first EP since dropping the Flint Eastwood moniker. The EP release saw Jax support Bishop Briggs across North America, and host an art show with female and non-binary artists in Detroit. Jax Anderson has dominated stages across the world, including in Australia where she has played Falls Festival and Gaytimes, and headlined shows in Sydney and Melbourne. 

After releasing a handful of acclaimed EPs, Yoke Lore has gained a loyal following. He has spent the past three years non-stop touring and playing festivals worldwide (SXSW, The Great Escape, Field Trip), and last year embarked on his first US headline tour, which sold out shows across the country.
